Product Lead Times

All of our products are made to order, which means the barrels, staves, and/or barrel heads to be used for your future special piece(s) are sitting in our storage warehouse until your order is received! We carefully select the reclaimed barrel or barrel part to be used for your order depending on the specific product, whether it will personalized, the desired stain or finish, and/or any special requests from our customers such as barrel stamps or brands.

Lead times vary from product to product, though most products take 1-2 weeks from order completion to shipment. Barrel cabinets, sinks, ice chests, and Adirondack chairs generally take 4-6 weeks from order completion to shipment and/or pickup. Returns & Exchanges

At Headwaters Barrel Company, we take great pride in the quality and craftsmanship of our products. Attention to design, materials, safety, and construction is our priority. We carefully inspect each product before it is shipped and we want you to be satisfied with your order. We'll always do our best to take care of customers. Our philosophy is to deal with you fairly and reasonably; we hope you will be fair and reasonable with us as well.

Our products are made from authentic, reclaimed whiskey or wine barrels, staves, and barrel heads and therefore may have remnants of ink stamps from the distilleries or wineries, staining, scrapes and dings, and other blemishes that all add unique character to each piece. No two pieces are exactly alike!

We guarantee our products to be free of manufacturing errors or product defects. Upon receipt, please review your order and notify us of any quality issues. If notified within 10 business days of receipt of your order, we will issue a prompt exchange for the same item, or a full refund.

If you are unsatisfied with your order, we will accept returns and exchanges if notified within 10 business days of receipt of your order. To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. You are responsible for the cost of return shipping. A refund of the purchase price minus the cost incurred by Headwaters Barrel Company to ship the product to you will be issued within 10 business days of receiving the returned item.

Order Modifications & Cancellations

We want your order to be exactly how you want it! Please carefully review the details of your orders before purchase and don’t hesitate to email us at info@headwatersbarrelco.com if you have questions before placing your order. If you need to make changes to your order or cancel an order, please contact the shop immediately. Once an order is in production, we cannot guarantee changes and/or refunds for that order.

For personalized items, we provide design proofs within a couple of business days of receiving your order and will not proceed with the laser engraving without your approval of the proof. Please review the proof(s) carefully and check spelling, dates, initials, and names carefully. Once approved, we are not responsible for misspellings or other mistakes.

NOTE: Headwaters Barrel Company reserves the right to cancel an order at its discretion should the order be deemed inappropriate for language, content or material.
